Purpose:

To raise awareness about the LOTO Process, the importance of performing LOTO, and the risks associated with not performing LOTO correctly.

Training outcome:

Upon completion of the course the participants are able to:

• Describe the minimum requirements concerning awareness, knowledge and adoption of safe working practices for hazardous energies.
• Describe the risks associated with working with hazardous energies and the correct use of personal protective equipment to mitigate these risks.
• Recall the different types of LOTO and the use of Zero Energy Verification tooling.
• Demonstrate how to follow Energy Isolation Documents.
• Demonstrate correct application of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical LOTO, including Zero Energy Verification procedures.
