GWO Instructor Qualification Training (IQT)

Purpose:

The Instructor Qualification Training (IQT) is designed for aspiring instructors who have no previous vocational teaching experience. This comprehensive program equips participants with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver effective, engaging, and safe training sessions for adult learners.

The aim of the IQT is to enable participants to instruct and facilitate learning in accordance with adult learning principles, ensuring that each session is both impactful and professional.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the training, participants will be able to:

1.        Plan and conduct instructor-led training sessions, ensuring participant safety throughout. (Ability – Intermediate Level)

2.       Select appropriate learning activities and assessment tools based on adult learning principles and learner characteristics. (Knowledge – Advanced Level)

3.       Apply effective teaching methods and learning structures tailored to an adult audience. (Skills – Intermediate Level)

4.      Assess participants’ learning progress and performance in alignment with defined training aims and objectives. (Knowledge – Advanced Level)

5.       Perform self-evaluations and take initiative to continuously improve instructional quality. (Ability – Intermediate Level)

This training follows the standards set out in the GWO Requirements for Training, ensuring that all participants meet the necessary prerequisites and competence expectations.
