Purpose:

Participants can take responsibility for administering safe, effective, and immediate lifesaving and enhanced first aid measures in an emergency in a Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) environment. Participants can act independently in giving assistance in remote areas using advanced emergency equipment and medical teleconsultation.

Training outcome:

The Enhanced First Aid Training shall enable participants to support and care for others working in the industry by possessing the knowledge, skills, and ability of enhanced first aid. Upon completing the GWO EFA training, delegates will be able to administer safe, effective, and immediate lifesaving and enhanced first aid measures to save lives and assist in remote areas using advanced emergency equipment and medical teleconsultation.

Admission Requirements:

• All personnel participating in the Enhanced First Aid Refresher training shall be medically fit and capable of fully participating.
• Valid GWO EFA certificate.
